As @Rich says, load the xf86-video-ati extension, exit to the console prompt, "startx" and look at /var/log/Xorg.0.log again.

..both work using pulseaudio (they should also work with alsa) and without a locale being set.
You will probably need gnome-session for orca to work.

in past, I submited dosbox.tcz app to TC repository and it runs fine. Downloading DosBox now it does not run. DosBox returns next error: Can't init SDL. No available video device.
What is the video device used by SDL and its .tcz modules?
